About Me

My photo
Sweet as Coco
I am a self taught, self proclaimed home cook. I try to take classes here and there and constantly challenge myself to try new things. I prefer to bake and I think much of that is attributed to the fact that I have a Science degree, and imagine I am still a chemist of my own kitchen. My goal in life would be to improve my skills enough to someday write a cookbook. Some personal tidbits on me: I was married in Napa Valley, California in August 2007. I have a wonderful husband, 2 sisters, a sweet and on the move one year old daughter, and 1 sweet, hyper English Setter dog, named Annie. I absolutely love chocolate, traveling, learning about history, California cuisine, and good wine and baking. My family calls me “Coco”. I originally started this blog because I was forwarded a food blog from my sister and after getting lost in it, I was totally hooked. What better way to document all my trials and tribulations to my friends and family than a food blog? I hope to learn new skills, and hopefully mingle with the other foodies out there… Always keep it sweet, Love, “Sweet as Coco” Have questions? Contact me at: DetroitFoodExaminer-at-gmail-dot-com
